Design & Rapid Prototyping
Sketch-to-sample support for new labels. We convert your reference photos into flat drawings, build the embroidery tape and return a physical proto in 5–7 days — so you validate an idea before committing to bulk fabric.

Qingdao Chenyou Hat Industry Co., Ltd. is a vertically integrated custom hat manufacturer in Ligezhuang Town — the district officially recognised as the “Hometown of Hats in China”. The story began in 1996, when our founder Emma Wang visited a Japanese hat factory and became obsessed with one question: why do so few caps actually fit well? In 2008 she opened two of her own workshops, and in 2018 added an in-house import & export company so that overseas brands could buy direct from the production floor.
Today we own our cutting, embroidery, sewing, blocking and finishing operations. That means the merchandiser answering your email can walk 40 metres and check your stitch density on the machine — a level of control trading companies simply cannot offer.
5,000 m² of floor space, 50+ machinists in the sewing hall, 9 dedicated production planners and QC staff, and 5 balanced sewing lines covering the full process from panel cutting to steam blocking.
Baseball & dad caps, snapback and hip-hop caps, trucker mesh caps, bucket hats, acrylic and wool beanies, visors and children's hats — each engineered around fit, fabric hand-feel and trim durability.
Ten production families, one engineering standard. Browse by category to see construction options, crown heights, panel counts and recommended decoration methods for each silhouette.
Ten in-house developments released this season. Every sample below was cut, embroidered and sewn on our own lines — patterns, tapes and trim specs are already on file, so re-colouring them for your brand is fast and low-risk.

Four routes to market, chosen according to how much design work you already have in hand. Whether you arrive with a finished tech pack or a single Pinterest screenshot, there is a defined workflow and a named merchandiser attached to it.

Bring the concept, we handle the rest: material sourcing, pattern grading, trim development, production planning, QC and export documents. Our Sino-foreign design team keeps aesthetics aligned with Western retail expectations.

Built for clubs, race teams and corporate uniform buyers. We specify moisture-wicking and quick-dry technical fabrics, handle multi-colour crest embroidery, and hold your artwork on file for seamless repeat orders each season.

Full control of silhouette, crown height, panel count, brim curve, sweatband, taping, eyelets, closure hardware and stitch colour. Down to the tone of the top-stitch — the details that make a cap unmistakably yours.

Different channels demand different construction. Below are the five scenarios our buyers most often order for, along with the build choices we recommend for each.
Soft unstructured crowns, garment-washed cotton twill and tonal embroidery for boutique and DTC labels.
Structured 6-panel bodies, flat bills, plastic snap closures and bold 3D puff or rubber patch branding.
Wide-brim bucket hats, chin cords and UPF-rated shells for travel, festival and resort programmes.
Laser-perforated panels, bonded seams and moisture-wicking sweatbands for running, golf and cycling.
Ribbed acrylic and wool-blend beanies with woven labels or 3D patches — ideal for cold-season gifting.
A transparent five-stage workflow with published lead times. You always know which stage your order is in and who owns it.
Share references, target fabric, quantity and landed-cost target. We return a written spec sheet plus construction advice within one working day.
Embroidery digitising or print separation completed in 24–48 hours, with a digital mock-up on the exact cap block you selected.
Physical sample in 5–7 working days. Fit, brim curve, thread tone and trim hardware confirmed before bulk is released.
20–25 days for 1,000–5,000 pcs across five lines, with in-line checks at cutting, embroidery, closing and blocking.
Final AQL 2.5 inspection, needle detection, private-label packing, then FOB Qingdao, CIF or direct-to-FBA delivery.
Compliance is not a marketing line — it is a purchase requirement for most of our customers. Our workshop has passed social and quality audits, and we supply test reports on request for fabric composition, azo dyes, phthalates and lead content.

Our client base covers apparel brands, promotional distributors and trading houses across North America, South America, Europe, Japan, Australia and Greater China. Many have been placing seasonal programmes with us for more than eight consecutive years — the clearest evidence of consistent quality that a factory can offer.
Reference contacts and production photos of past programmes can be shared on request, subject to our customers' confidentiality agreements.
Partners

The five questions our overseas buyers ask first. Answers below reflect our actual current capacity and terms, not generic industry averages.
Our standard MOQ is 100 pieces per style and colourway for embroidered baseball caps, snapbacks and bucket hats, and 200 pieces for knitted beanies with custom woven labels. Start-up brands testing a first collection can combine 2–3 colours within one style to reach the minimum, which keeps the initial inventory risk low.
Digital artwork and embroidery tape proofs are returned in 24–48 hours. A physical pre-production sample ships within 5–7 working days after artwork approval. Bulk production for 1,000–5,000 pieces normally takes 20–25 days across our five sewing lines, plus 25–35 days sea freight to the US West Coast or 5–7 days by air.
In-house and through audited partners we run 3D puff embroidery, flat embroidery, appliqué, chain stitch, woven and leather patches, rubber/silicone patches, screen printing, sublimation, laser perforation and custom metal eyelets, buckles and snap closures. If your logo has fine serifs or gradients we will advise the technique that reproduces it most faithfully at cap scale.
Yes. We produce custom hang tags, size stickers, inner woven labels, printed polybags and branded cartons. Orders can ship FOB Qingdao, CIF to your nominated port, or be delivered directly to Amazon FBA and third-party logistics warehouses in the US, EU, UK and Japan with compliant carton labelling.
Every order passes in-line inspection at the cutting, embroidery and closing stages, plus a final AQL 2.5 random inspection covering stitch density, colour fastness, brim shape retention, size tolerance (±0.5 cm) and needle detection. Third-party inspections by SGS, BV, Intertek or your own QC team are welcome and we host buyers at the factory year-round.
Trend reports and technical guides written by our own product development team — practical reading for buyers planning next season's cap programme.

Unstructured crowns, curved brims and a relaxed 6-panel build have turned the dad hat into the most unisex silhouette in headwear. We break down the fabric weights, sweatband choices and closure types that make it work for both retail and corporate gifting.

Recycled RPET twill, organic cotton, water-based inks and recycled polybags — a realistic look at which sustainable headwear materials are commercially available at 500-piece order levels, and what they do to your landed cost.

From washed pastel palettes and oversized chain-stitch lettering to laser-vented performance panels — the shapes, colours and decoration methods our buyers are booking for the coming season.
Send us your logo, target fabric and quantity. A dedicated merchandiser replies within one working day with construction advice, a written spec sheet and an honest lead time — direct from the factory floor in Qingdao.
